SESSION DESCRIPTION

“This four-part series is based on our new book, ReEngaging ELCA Social Teaching on Faith, Sexism, and Justice: A Call to Action (spring 2025). To begin, we remember the promise that God intends for everyone to flourish, and we encounter the prophetic call that sexism and patriarchy are sinful. Next, we explore Lutheran themes that fuel our work for gender justice, and we engage the statement’s reforming call to new views of sex, gender, and sexuality.” -Mary Lowe and Mary Streufert
