Jack M. Kennedy

Jack Kennedy (pictured with his wife Jean McQuiggin), a former Jesuit grounded in Ignatian Discernment Spirituality, has 50 years of experience as a spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and educator. He presently has a private practice in Portland, OR, and sits with people from a broad spectrum of faith and spiritual backgrounds. Jack designs and facilitates gatherings for exploring and aligning personal and communal spirituality with our evolving awareness of our planetary predicament and our potential for continuing to have a loving impact.

SESSION DESCRIPTION

We will explore the movement towards greater equity and sustainability for all of life, giving rise to our questions of, “What is mine to do?”, “How can we, individually and collectively, meet the new needs of these times?”, and “How can we spiritually thrive amidst this tumultuous unraveling of old systems for the sake of birthing the new?”

      Education

      Holden Village is a community where your questions are valued and encouraged. Most programs led by visiting teaching faculty occur during the summer months. However, Holden also invites faculty to teach sessions for special events and retreats throughout the rest of the year.
