Every January, Holden Village welcomes students from colleges and seminaries for January Term or “J-Term” classes to build and practice community while learning together about topics ranging from religion to environmental studies.
Villagers will embrace new experiences from learning to cross country ski, meditating in a snowy candlelit labyrinth with an Epiphany bonfire, working together for the “Copper Chef” challenge to create a delicious meal with wacky ingredients, keeping the wood furnaces stoked, and participating in the daily rhythms of caring for one another and this place.
Registration for guests is limited during J-Term. However, additional volunteers are very much needed! Learn more and apply to volunteer during J-Term
